Compulsory Politics

Many people are arguing that no student union means no services. But this is a swift argument. Nobody is going to object to charges for material services. Most people won't even object to being charged for a set of services, not all of which they use.
What we don't normally do in a free country (except in the case of the ABC) is to have compulsory payments for organisations that are blatantly, one-sidedly, political.
