A Patient's Rights

The Sunday Herald Sun        Friday, July 19, 2002

Did the Victorian Government Health and Community Services Committee actually recommend active euthanasia, carried out by a doctor (SHS report June 16)? Or are we just talking about refusing unwelcome medical intervention?

I thought it was established since the Nuremberg Trials after WW2 that nobody has to accept medical treatment if they don’t want it. If that is the policy that needs reinforcing, I support it.
