Biased System

Mark Latham and Jenny Macklin keep chanting that Labor will bring in a 'needs-based' school funding system. They have no such intention.
Most non-state schools will continue to have less to spend. Even the poorest families outside the state system will not qualify for normal funding. On the other hand anyone, including the many millionaires who use state schools, will go on getting the full amount for every child. This is clearly not needs-based.
Why so biased? Simple: Labor runs the state schools.
