Japan and China

It's a big plus for Australia to get more involved with both Japan and China. Who knows, Australia could evolve into the Switzerland of Asia - a place where problems between nations of the region can be calmly discussed and hopefully solved.
Bob Hawke introduced federal funding to support the study of Chinese and Japanese in schools. I think the time is long due for this project to be revived.
